The Bat Walk Walking Tour takes walkers through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park at night, in search of some of the area’s bat species. Guests can use bat detectors and take part in a fun quiz. Discovery Day: Meadow Madness

Discovery Day is being held throughout the summer at Hyde Park and visitors can see what it’s all about on a variety of days in August. Between 11am and 3pm, families are invited to check out a number of free and exciting nature inspired activities such as visiting nature discovery rooms and sweep netting for insects. Plus, there’s a whole host of arts and crafts for children to enjoy.
Nature Explorers: Water World

Nature Explorers: Water World is being held at Hyde Park on 22nd of August, and it provides a fun few hours for children aged 8 to 11. Kids can enjoy a day of exploring nature, using microscopes and getting to grips with the wildlife that resides in Hyde Park. Hyde Park’s Sunset Safari is all about campfires, sunsets and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy campfire snacks whilst learning about the nocturnal wildlife in the park. Barrie created the character of Peter Pan back in 1902 and since then he has become a firm favourite among children and adults.
