London by Night

London is one of the most diverse cities in the whole of Europe, connecting multinational cultures via the food it serves, the drinks it pours, and the attractions it offers to locals and tourists alike.

As such, finding something to do in London is easy come rain or shine, whether you’re young or old, and whether you want to see London by day or by night.

In this blog, we’re focussing on London by night, and all there is to do just outside of your Grand Royal London hotel.

River Thames evening cruise

Did you know that the River Thames hosts a number of cruise boats which offer various experiences, including dinner cruises and evening cruises to offer a place from which to enjoy the sunset.

The perfect end to a romantic day, or a way of enjoying London’s views from a different perspective, this is often a premium experience with regards to cost but worth it as a one off treat.

Cocktails and dancing in Soho

This is one for the partygoers amongst you – Soho is the place to go if you want high energy dancing, endless cocktails, and a club atmosphere which goes on all night long. Recognised as the central hub of London’s gay bars and clubs, Soho is an exciting and vibrant place to visit on a night out – or why not head a little further out to one of the casinos which are located around Leicester Square in central London.

Culture at night

Many of the top museums and galleries in London are open late into the evening, with some hosting specific late tours and offering late night access to those who want to wander with fewer crowds and certainly less school trips and group visits in attendance.

A surprisingly romantic way to spend an evening in London, why not take the culture or art lover in your life to one of these late museum tours and watch their eyes light up as they get to learn and find out more about the exhibits without the crowds around them.

Visit one of the high end hotel bars

Some of the best bars near Hyde Park are located inside the top hotels which line the outskirts of the park, combining the great location with exquisite drinks and a memorable setting which feels both opulent and luxurious.

From a glass of chilled fizz to a special cocktail created for you by the bar server, there is no better way to close the day than with a drink in the bar of your hotel or a hotel close to yours.

Check out the views

Finally, to the part of London that many tourists love – the views, particularly from high up locations and destinations. From the Shard to the London Eye, the Sky Garden, and one of the many rooftop bars dotted across the city, if views are your thing, then booking yourself a table or ticket for one of these attractions is an excellent way to snap that selfie against the London skyline.
