List of Must Do Things In London This Weekend 26-27 April, 2014

If you thought you are going to spend your weekend working in London on a business trip or will just follow the usual routine by re-visiting the most popular tourist attractions, you are wrong. This weekend has so much in store for you that you will be forced to run away from work and you will not even think of visiting the same places again and again. See the hottest things to do this weekend 26-27 April, 2014 and make it a point to do at least half of them.

•    Fashion lovers must attend the Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier at the Barbican and the Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 at the Victoria & Albert Hall.

•    Sci-Fi-London film festival will take you to a whole another world if you care to attend it at Stratford Picturehouse and BFI Southbank.

•    If you are even a little bit into Korfball, you would know that Finals of Englad Korfball League are taking place in Croydon. Even if you don’t know about  the game, go ahead and have some fun, its free anyways.

•    Have you ever ridden Segway? If not head to Segway Rally at Alexandra Palace and give it a go or just watch.

•    Tune into a fusion of Spanish, Arabic and Gypsy music at Etcetera Theatre where JP & Xochitl will play music in the dark.

•    Enough of tourist walks; it’s time for a Tourist Run. It’s 5 km long, it’s free and it will take you through Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Gherkin.

•    Another free event, this time a family event in Abbey Gardens, Bakers Row will let you learn about building scarecrows and growing pumpkins among other things.

•    Go bird-watching and dating at the Royal Society for the Pursuit of Love Birds on Hampstead Heath.

•    You have to attend St. George’s Day celebrations in Borough Market and enjoy folk music, food and traditional entertainment.
