On Good Friday this year, the religious among us will be preparing to celebrate the life, death and life of Jesus. Based on the South Bank, the Globe Theatre is a reconstruction of the original Elizabethan Globe Theatre. Working mostly with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Globe Theatre will be bringing both parts of Henry IV and Henry V to the open-air stage.

And royal Kew gardens certainly is, being based on the grounds of Kew Palace, a royal residence for the monarchy.

The London Marathon this year takes place on the 28th of April and is a perfect way to see London in all its vibrant glory. As one of the most popular events in London’s calendar, the London Marathon brings a lot of charity money into the city, alongside thousands of runners and some of the best athletes in the world.
This annual Sikh Festival ushers in the Sikh new year and brings a wide range of music, food and celebrations to Trafalgar Square on the 27th of April.
